Delivery & Shipping Information

Singapore Customers
Free delivery on all local orders above 90SGD. For orders less than 90SGD, delivery is $12 flat. Orders are dispatched on Monday afternoons (same-day delivery), by a private courier. You will receive an email notification once your order has been dispatched.
Orders need to be placed by Fridays to allow sufficient time to prepare the order and book your delivery slot. Orders placed on Saturdays and Sundays may only be delivered on Monday the week after.
For self-collection, please arrange an appointment within one week of order confirmation. Please click here for contact details and nursery address.

Export Permits & Shipping
An export permit (Phytosanitary and/or CITES) is mandatory for all international orders. Black Toe Tropicals cannot ship internationally without the required permits. The shipping cost you see at checkout includes the cost of permits.

For countries not listed in the table above, please enquire with via email at surin@blacktoetropicals.com. We ship via DHL Express Worldwide, and each order is insured. Orders are consolidated every 2 weeks, and a tracking link will be shared upon dispatch of your order.
Important:
If required, please ensure you have a valid import permit if required by your country’s PPA, which will need to be forwarded to us for attachment to your parcel. Please email all additional permits and documentation to surin@blacktoetropicals.com. Black Toe Tropicals will not be held responsible for confiscation of orders by immigration if found to be lacking the required import permits and/or documents from the buyer.
Black Toe Tropicals does its best to ensure that internationally exported plants are healthy and pest and disease-free upon dispatch. It is the buyer's responsibility to ascertain the import requirements of your local Plant Protection Authority (PPA) to ensure a successful import.
Additionally, buyers should be experienced in post-arrival care and recuperation techniques to ensure the survival of shipped plants. Please read the blog post "Post-import Care & Acclimatisation" for a detailed guide on how to acclimatise and harden your new plants.
Treatment
Plants are dipped in 0.2%(v/v) Abamectin and 0.2%(w/v) Thiram.
Packaging
All plants are shipped bareroot, with each plant labelled and packed into a resealable bag. All orders are shipped in sealed styrofoam boxes with sufficient padding and void filler.
Duties & Taxes
Black Toe Tropicals exports all orders delivery duty paid (DDP), which means that all duties and taxes incurred at the importing country are initially covered by us. This expedites the customs clearance process and ensures your plants get to you as quickly as possible. Shortly upon receipt of the order, the buyer will be invoiced by us for any duties and taxes incurred, as-is, with no markup.
