An unknown species of ornamental ginger from Peninsular Malaysia with very dark foliage and highly contrasting lipstick-red undersides. Foliage is quite succulent and slightly glossy. Flowers not yet observed. Best grown in dappled to bright shade, with good airflow, and in very well-draining medium.
