Drosera lanata is a member of the "Petiolaris complex" (sect. Lasiocephala) group of wooly sundews native to the Northern Territory and Western Australia states. Mature plants average 6-8cm in diameter, and when grown in sufficient light, sport blood red traps. This is the true form of the species, and not Drosera aff. lanata.
