A superb gateway species into members of Primulaceae, Labisia beccarii is a beautifully bicoloured species from Borneo with succulent, leathery foliage. Mature foliage is dark green with pale venation, while new leaves emerge reddish bronze with yellow venation.
Adaptable to indoor conditions with sufficient light, but it must dry out slightly between waterings. Mature plants can be quite large, with a leafspan averaging 40-50cm.
