A small, dark form of the ubiquitous species with almost black lower pitchers (Picture 4) and dark speckled upper pitchers (Pictures 1 & 2). Pitchers are smaller than what is typical for the species, averaging only 4-5cm in height. Stem is dark and the abaxial (underside) surface of the leaf bears dark variegation. Easy when grown in very bright light and kept wet.
